Mark is the owner of the Old School BBQ Bus in Oldham - the best place to go for low and slow cooked barbecue food, live country music, serving The Old School BBQ Buses very own Rage Moonshine and a welcoming atmosphere!  Mark used to have a proper job but back in 2016 he decided to convert an old American school  bus imported from Arizona into a mobile kitchen with smokers and griddles to cook low and slow barbecue food.  He called it The Old School BBQ Bus and started trading on a local pub car park in Failsworth.  The bus soon became more and more popular and Mark decided it was time to expand so he found a piece of land, parked the bus on it and built around it The Old School BBQ Bus built out of second-hand wood pallets and old shipping containers.  The restaurant opened in January 2018 and since then it has gone from strength to strength with a following of loyal customers.  Mark has become quite the celebrity, featuring on BBC Radio Manchester, a BBC documentary (A Matter of Life and Debt) and articles in various Newspapers, involved in Seconds Helpings cookbook having 5 pages. We cant forget in 2022 Mark and his head chef appeared on the first week of brand new Come Down With ME: The Professionals series, which is now on Netflix. Go check it out now!
